The dressing features a gentle border design with an advanced quintuple construction, combining an absorbent pad sandwiched between a perforated silicone gel adhesive wound contact layer and a highly permeable waterproof outer film.

This unique design allows the dressing to extremely absorb wound secretions while providing the optimal moist environment for faster wound healing and minimizing pain and trauma to patients during dressing changes. Each pack comes individually wrapped, with a dressing size of 4" x 4" and a central foam size of 2.5" x 2.5".

The Kastormed Silicone Foam Dressing is suitable for various moderately to heavily exudating wounds, such as pressure ulcers, foot diabetic ulcers, leg ulcers, surgical wounds, 1st & 2nd-degree burns, and traumatic wounds.

To use the dressing, follow these simple steps: 1. Clean the wound according to clinical practice. 2. Remove the first release film. 3. Apply the adhesive side to the wound and remove the remaining release liner. 4. Smooth down the border on the skin. Do not stretch.

Tips and advice: - The dressing is a disposable product and cannot be reused. - Ensure the central foam pad (2.5"x 2.5") is larger than the wound size. - Gently hold the dressing by hand for 25 seconds to activate the adhesive for optimal performance. - Prevent external equipment or hard objects from rubbing the ends of the dressing for longer service. - The dressing is waterproof but not shower-proof, as liquid can leak in from the edge, weakening the adhesion.
