MANUKA FILL is an antiseptic ointment used in professional and self-care for the treatment of all types of wounds. It contains Certified medical-grade Manuka honey as designated by the CMH mark, signifying the honey's authenticity and highest quality.

Manuka honey is harvested from hives dedicated to bees that gather nectar from the flower of the Manuka bush (Leptospermum scoparium), which is native only to New Zealand. MANUKA FILL features Manuka honey with an MGO (Methylglyoxal) level of +350 per mg, making it a Certified Medical Honey.

The high sugar levels in MANUKA FILL result in osmotic pressure, which helps maintain a moist healing environment conducive to improving wound healing. This osmotic effect also naturally draws harmful tissue from the wound bed. Additionally, the low pH and high osmolarity in the honey promote wound healing.

MANUKA FILL works as an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory agent due to its high MGO content, which is a bactericidal substance. It helps maintain a moist wound healing environment, which can speed up the wound healing process.

MANUKA FILL has a pH value between 3.2-4.5, which prevents bacterial growth, as bacteria thrive around a pH between 6-7.8. It does not contain any antibiotics and will not cause antibiotic resistance or any other type of known resistance in bacteria.

A tube of MANUKA FILL contains only 100% Leptospermum Scoparium Manuka honey from New Zealand. When using MANUKA FILL on open wounds, the low pH and osmotic effect can cause a tingling sensation, which is a normal part of the healing process.
